Serena & Rob

A few weekends ago I was lucky enough to photograph Serena and Rob at the beautiful Busl Craft Cider.

I first met Serena and Rob while I was living in Ottawa when I became their dog walker for their adorable pup, Bowser. He was the sweetest, gentle giant!
(Oh yeah, did I ever mention that I was a dog walker while I was living in Ottawa?! I absolutely love dogs, they’re my favourite. So, I figured why not?! I worked for an incredible company and had such a kind-hearted and passionate boss. I learned so much about how to properly walk dogs, handle reactive dogs and even learned about correcting behavioural habits that led to issues).

From the moment I met Serena and Rob, they have been so supportive of my business. Serena and her family took part in my first ever Christmas mini session last winter and they both always give me encouraging and supportive words about my work. I am so grateful for them.

Serena and Rob, I never realized how many times I made you both dance around (haha) but thank you both for going along with my ideas.
I love, love, love working with you both and capturing the genuine love you two share for each other.

Please don’t ever stop dancing in public <3

Also a HUGE thank you to everyone at Busl Craft Cider, in Mallorytown, for allowing us to use your stunning property for this session.
I encourage everyone to go there for a date night, family night, girls night or just any reason really. Their location is beautiful and they have the tastiest drinks!

Rachel & Mat

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this couple for a very long time and let me tell you, I hold them very close to my heart.

I first met Mat back in math class in high school where we ended up realizing we were both living down the street from each other in the same very small community (about 20 minutes from our high school!). We became really close friends and even worked together at Dairy Queen for a few years!

I met Rachel through some mutual friends in high school as well and she was always the kindest soul. Ironically, DQ has to close down for repairs and I ended up working with Rachel out on the highway (she is the only reason I survived lol).

It doesn’t take long to realize how great of a match these two are together. They both have hearts of pure gold and give so much light and love to everyone around them.

This wedding was an honour to be apart in and I’ll forever be grateful to have captured it <3

McKayla & Jimmy

As the winter season slowly sneaks up on us I’m finally able to catch up on some blogging. I’m so dang excited for the winter season.

All the new drinks Starbucks releases for the Christmas season, all the winter candles Bath & Body Works puts out and all of the cozy blankets I seem to collect (that I know I have enough of).

I photographed these two just a few weekends ago when it was still fall, which right now feels like so long ago!

We had the BEST time during our session at a spot where Jimmy proposed to Mckayla. I love when couples pick spots that have a special meaning to them, it just adds that extra little bit of magic.

I am SO excited for their 2020 wedding, I know its going to be just as stunning as they are.

Kaycee & Ben

Here are a few sneaks from Kaycee & Ben’s stunning wedding day.

Right from the moment I sat down with Kaycee (& their little guy Carter) I instantly felt like they were more of my friends than they were clients. They both have such incredibly kind hearts.

They embraced the wind storm that was thrown our way and just went with it and I’m so glad they did!
